Scripture Reading Plan
This week’s scripture reading includes Matthew 24 to 25, known as the Olivet Discourse. In this passage, Jesus delves into the concept of the end of time and his second coming. While discussions about the Apocalypse often pique our curiosity about the timeline of end-time events and the specifics of what will transpire, Jesus’ primary focus is on preparing us for his return. Instead of dwelling on the future, he emphasizes the importance of persistence in faith amidst temptations and challenges. The revelation of the future is always intended to guide our actions and choices in the present.
Reading Plan for this week:
Mar 16 (Sunday) Matthew 23:1-22
Mar 17 (Monday) Matthew 23:23-39
Mar 18 (Tuesday) Matthew 24:1-28
Mar 19 (Wednesday) Matthew 24:29-51
Mar 20 (Thursday) Matthew 25:1-30
Mar 21 (Friday) Matthew 25:31-46
Mar 22 (Saturday) Mark 13:1-23
Mar 23 (Sunday) Mark 13:24-37
