Fellowship Life

  • Westside 101 is a course designed for anyone who wishes to join us as a member through baptism or transfer of membership. It consists of approximately five 90-minute classes. Please register at universe.com/westside

Scripture Reading Plan

  • In this week’s Bible reading plan, we return to Acts chapter 20, where Paul revisits the churches in Macedonia and Greece. Though he knows that imprisonment awaits him, he still desires to go to Jerusalem. Before departing, he meets with the elders of the church in Ephesus, and they weep and bid him farewell with tears—an unforgettable scene.

  • In Jerusalem, while Paul is in the temple, the crowd rises up to seize him, but the Roman commander intervenes. Paul then makes his defense before the Jewish Sanhedrin and the council, bearing witness to God.

  • Reading Plan for this week:

    • September 7 (Sunday): Romans 15:1-13

    • September 8 (Monday): Romans 15:14-33

    • September 9 (Tuesday): Acts 20:13-38

    • September 10(Wednesday): Acts 21:1-16

    • September 11 (Thursday): Acts 21:17-40

    • September 12(Friday): Acts 22:1-16

    • September 13 (Saturday): Acts 22:17-30

    • September 14 (Sunday): Acts 23:1-22


Announcements

  • WBC 101 will begin at the end of September. Those who wish to be baptized or transfer membership during this Christmas season and become members of Westside are welcome to join. The course dates are September 28, October 12, October 19, November 30, and December 7, held on Sunday afternoons. Please register at universe.com/westside.

  • Active in Mission raised a total of $70,818.87 nationwide this year, including $16,280 raised by our church. We sincerely thank all brothers, sisters, and friends for your generous donations and enthusiastic participation!

  • The church plans to hold Baptism and Membership Transfer Ceremonies on September 13 and 14.
