  • Christian Education Program: Spirituality in Time (8 Lessons) will be offered between November 3 and December 22, 2024 10:45-11:45am in Room E. Please register on universe.com/westside.

  • Monthly bulletin including summary of the board meeting and the financial report has already posted on the church website and bulletin board.

  • Jamie Liao and Jessica Yeung is going to transfer their membership to Westside today. Their profiles have been posted on the bulletin board.

  • A Clothing Drive will be held in December as a Christmas donation to Covenant House to support youth in need. Congregants can place donated clothing in Room G downstairs after worship services on December 14, 15, 21, 22 and 24. Please put clean and resalable clothing into 26”x36” plastic bags.

  • The Canadian Baptist Ministries (CBM) is calling for fundraising to support the victims of the ongoing conflict in Lebanon. As a member of the Canadian Foodgrains Bank, CBM is participating in a joint fundraising campaign organized by the Humanitarian Coalition. Donations will be matched by the Canadian government. The church will be accepting special offerings from today until October 20th. Congregants can make etransfers to westsidebaptistoffering@gmail.com, write checks to “Westside Baptist Church,” or donate cash. Please specify “Lebanon Emergency Appeal” when making the donation.

  • The church is now offering drum lessons for those who are willing to potentially serve on the praise team. Space is limited. For those who are interested please sign up on universe.com/westside and our church office will contact you. Registration deadline is October 27.

  • 2025-2027 Deaconship Election

    • This year’s deacon election will be conducted online, members should have received an email from the church to confirm their email address. If you have not received the email from the church, please take the initiative to contact the church office.

    • Members who are unable to vote online are asked to call the church office before October 27 to make an appointment to vote physically.

    • Deaconship candidates: Dick Chan, Jason Kwok, Arlene Manaloto, Monica Tong, Jackson Yu. Their profiles have been posted on the bulletin board.
