Announcements - November 3, 2024

Lebanon‭ - ‬Conflict Relief‭ ‬has raised a total of‭ $‬5,340‭. ‬The donations have been sent to the‭ ‬Canadian Baptist Ministries‭ (‬CBM‭) ‬for disaster relief purposes‭. ‬The Canadian government will also match our donations‭. ‬Thank you brothers and sisters for their generous donations‭.‬

The online election for the‭ ‬2025-2027‭ ‬deacons‭ ‬is open between November 2‭ ‬2:00pm and‭  ‬November 3‭  ‬2:00pm‭. ‬If any member has not yet received the election email‭, ‬please call 604-377-5602‭ ‬for inquiries‭. ‬ Deaconship candidates‭ ‬are‭: ‬Dick Chan‭, ‬Jason Kwok‭, ‬Arlene Manaloto‭, ‬Monica Tong‭, ‬and Jackson Yu‭. ‬Their profiles have been posted on the bulletin board‭.‬

Christian Education Program‭: ‬Spirituality in Time‭ (‬8‭ ‬Lessons‭) ‬will be offered between November 3‭ ‬and December 22‭, ‬2024‭ ‬10:45-11:45am in Room E‭. ‬Please register on‭ ‬universe.com/westside‭.‬

A‭ ‬Praise and Worship night‭ ‬will be held on November 8‭ ‬at 7:30pm‭. ‬All are welcome to join‭.‬

A‭ ‬Clothing Drive‭ ‬will be held in December as a Christmas donation to‭ ‬Covenant House‭ ‬to support youth in need‭. ‬Congregants can place donated clothing in Room G downstairs after worship services on December 14‭, ‬15‭, ‬21‭, ‬22‭ ‬and 24‭. ‬Please put clean and resalable clothing into 26‮!(‬x36‮!(‬‭ ‬plastic bags‭. ‬

The‭ ‬2025‭ ‬calendar cards‭ ‬have been printed and are available for pick up and sharing with friends and family‭.‬
