Scripture Reading Plan
This week, we will be reading the last section of the Gospel of John, detailing Jesus’ arrest, interrogation, execution, and burial. It may be sad for us to go back into these narratives of suffering, but remember that we are in Eastertide. The death of Jesus is not the end of the story. He has been resurrected and defeated death. Therefore, let us read the passion account of Jesus from a perspective of victory.
Reading Plan for this week:
June 1 (Sunday) John 17:1-26
June 2 (Monday) John 18:1-24
June 3 (Tuesday) John 18:25-19:22
June 4 (Wednesday) John 19:23-42
June 5 (Thursday) John 20:1-31
June 6 (Friday)Thursday) John 21:1-25
June 7 (Saturday) John 1:1-26
June 8 (Sunday) John 2:1-21
