Scripture Reading Plan
This week’s Bible reading plan includes 1 and 2 Thessalonians, letters Paul wrote to a young church in the key Macedonian city of Thessalonica. Paul encouraged believers who were suffering for their faith, urging them to remain steadfast and hopeful for Christ’s return.
Due to ongoing persecution, some mistakenly believed the Day of the Lord had already come, causing fear, confusion, and even a halt to normal life. Paul wrote to correct these misunderstandings and teach proper doctrine about the Seconding Coming of Jesus. These letters not only address future events but also guide how to live faithfully in the present.
Reading Plan for this week:
July 6 (Sunday): 1 Thessalonians 2:1-19
July 7 (Monday): 1 Thessalonians 3:1-13
July 8 (Tuesday): 1 Thessalonians 4:1-18
July 9 (Wednesday): 1 Thessalonians 5:1-28
July 10 (Thursday): 2 Thessalonians 1:1-12
July 11 (Friday): 2 Thessalonians 2:1-17
July 12 (Saturday): 2 Thessalonians 3:1-18
July 13 (Sunday): Acts 19:1-20
