Fellowship Life

  • Westside 101 is a course designed for anyone who wishes to join us as a member through baptism or transfer of membership. It consists of approximately five 90-minute classes. Please register at universe.com/westside

Announcements

  • Christian Education course beginning Sunday, 10:45–11:45 AM in Studio C (downstairs). All are welcome. Please register at universe.com/westside.

  • The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on January 25, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the Main Hall. Members may begin registering for entry at 1:30 PM.

  • The GZone Youth Fellowship will be hosting a light lunch charity sale on January 25, following the Cantonese worship service (prior to the AGM). Please remember to bring cash if you wish to support them. 100% of the proceeds will go toward subsidizing our youth to attend the Youth Camp in May.

  • Join us for our Ash Wednesday Service—Our Lament, taking place on Wednesday, February 18, at 7:30 PM. The English congregation will gather for worship in the Gallery, held concurrently with the Cantonese service in the Main Hall. Those attending the English service may head directly to the Gallery. Please note that there will be no children’s program available during this evening service.

  • Building Roots & Resilience is a free 9-session series co-hosted by Westside Baptist Church and Marpole Oakridge Family Place, specifically designed for newcomer families and individuals in the Marpole/Oakridge area. Conducted in English (ESL welcome), the program starts February 27 at the church (Fridays, 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM). Navigate the emotional and practical journey of building a new life—from mental wellness to parenting—in a supportive space led by a Registered Clinical Counsellor. Childminding for Children Age 6-11 (Drop off at 7:15pm). Limited Spots for 20 people; Details and application via the QR code.
