While the world thinks that Christmas is over (even the Christian radio station is not playing Christmas music anymore), we are in the deep of observing Christmas and reading the Christmas narrative in Matthew and Luke. Let this misalignment of the worldly culture and the Christian calendar remind us of the nature of the Kingdom order that we follow, that it is in dissonance and opposition with the world. As you read this week, notice the same dissonance and opposition embedded within the Christmas narrative.
Reading Plan for this week:
Dec 29 (Sunday) Luke 2:1-7
Dec 30 (Monday) Luke 2:8-21
Dec 31 (Tuesday) Matthew 1:1-17
Jan 1 (Wednesday) Matthew 1:18-25
Jan 2 (Thursday) Matthew 2:1-12
Jan 3 (Friday) Matthew 2:13-23
Jan 4 (Saturday) Luke 2:22-40
Jan 5 (Sunday) Luke 2:41-52
