Sunday Worship

Sunday worship begins at 11 am. Our band and worship team lead us in contemporary style of worship with a rich variety. A wide selection of songs ranging from contemporary to traditional are sung. The language is mixed from Cantonese to English. Different musical instruments including drums, keyboard, electrical guitars, and piano are used to enrich our worship. We believe in worship and praise through new songs with a sincere heart.

We hold strongly onto the Word of God as the authority of life. We firmly believed that the Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for reproofing, correcting, guiding and comforting us in our everyday life. Our sermon is delivered in Cantonese although there is bilingual sermon outline shown in our visual aids. While we use multimedia equipment such as visual aids, video, digital pictures etc. in our worship, we recognize that the key to worship is in spirit and in truth.

Our monthly Communion is opened to all who have baptized, regardless of their background. Children Sunday school runs simultaneously as our Sunday worship and is conducted bi-lingually. Children learn about God through children worship, Bible narratives, song-singing and craft time.

Christian Education (Adult & Children)

We believe in the life-long learning about God and our faith. Our Christian Education is for both children and adults.
The main children education program is our weekly children Sunday school at 11 am. We have classes for different age groups. Children will gather for their worship time before they go to their classes. The classes focus on learning bible stories and application of biblical teaching to daily life through activities, story time and discussion.

Our adult Christian Education program is available Sunday morning at 9:30 am and Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm. The program is divided into three tracks: study on Bible books, Biblical background, and Life application. We run Westside 101 regularly throughout the year. Westside 101 is our baptismal class. Baptismal candidates will learn about their rights and responsibilities at Westside. This class is also suitable for seekers as it discusses the fundamentals of Christianity and what we believe. We also run some basic level courses regularly for new believers to equip them become better disciples of Jesus. These courses include Becoming a contagious Christian, What the Bible is All About...etc. We also have a lot of other courses at different levels for believers to strengthen their faith and to grow spiritually on God's words.
